GCH Valioso von Alpensee (Dozer) becomes the first Leonberger to win an AKC Best in Show on July 19, 2011, Twin Brooks Kennel Club show, Morristown, NJ!!! Thank you to judge Cathy Daugherty!!!

GrCH Valioso von Alpensee (Dozer) is the country’s #1 Leonberger, in both All-Breed and Breed rankings!! Dozer added to his many group placements by winning the Working Group on 5/26/11 at the Kennel Club of Northern NJ show under judge Helene Nietsch. His grandmother Zelda is the only other Leonberger to win the Working Group (she won it twice) since the breed became part of the AKC’s Working Group in July of 2010.

4/10 - After a very long drive out to the Chicago area (1800 miles round trip), Rio Grande von Alpensee (Rio) was bred to Kwenobe Balfen Shiku (Shiku), who is visiting from Sweden for a few months. We'll be doing an ultrasound in 3 to 4 weeks and are hoping for puppies!
